Tesco is the biggest supermarket chain in the UK and right now their Manchester store needs Supermarket Assistants to join the team. The work is straightforward, you will be keeping shelves stocked, helping customers find what they need, and making sure the store looks good at all times.

No experience needed. No degree needed. If you are reliable, friendly, and can work as part of a team, you can start almost immediately.

Job Role:

Every day in store is a little different but your main tasks will be:

Stacking and replenishing shelves throughout the day
Checking product dates and removing anything out of date
Helping customers find products and answering their questions
Operating a till and handling cash and card payments
Keeping your section clean, tidy, and well presented
Receiving deliveries and checking stock against delivery notes
Supporting colleagues during busy periods on the shop floor

Pay, Hours and Shifts

£11.50 – £13.00 per hour based on your role and experience
Full time: 36 to 40 hours per week
Day shifts and evening shifts both available
Weekend work is part of the schedule
Overtime available during busy periods like Christmas and Easter
Weekly pay straight into your bank account every Friday

Requirements

Your First Week at Tesco
