Job Description
Darden Restaurants owns and operates some of the best known restaurant in the USA, including Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse and The Capital .They are one of the largest full service restaurant companies in the country and are always on the lookout for good people to join their front of house teams.
They are now hiring Servers at their Olive Garden in The Woodlands, Texas. This is a high volume restaurant and good servers do well between their hourly and tips. If you are a people person, work well under pressure and enjoy a fast paced environment this job is for you.
Job Role:
- Welcome guests as soon as they are seated and make them feel comfortable
- Take food and drink orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen
- Serve food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
- Check on guests during their meal and handle any requests they have
- Handle payments and process bills correctly at the end of each table
- Keep your section clean and reset tables quickly after guests leave
- Work with kitchen staff and other servers to keep things running smoothly during busy periods
Working Hours
- Full-time: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Flexible shifts — morning, afternoon, and evening available
- Weekend shifts are required as restaurants are busiest on weekends
- Immediate start available for the right candidate

Requirements
- Previous experience as a server or in a front of house role is preferred
- Comfortable talking to people and handling multiple tables at once
- Able to stay calm and friendly when the restaurant gets busy
- Good memory for orders and attention to detail
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Texas — 18 years or older
- Able to stand for long periods and move around quickly during shifts
- A Food Handler Certificate is preferred but training can be provided
Experience
At least 6 months of serving or hospitality experience is preferred. Candidates with no experience who are quick learners and have a good attitude are also welcome to apply. Olive Garden provides proper training before you start serving on your own.
