Job Description
Honeywell is a global manufacturer and industrial company operate in the United States and around the world. Its Houston plant performs production and assembly work on industrial equipment and components. We are currently looking for Manufacturing Associates to join our production floor team on a full time basis.
In this job, Selected applicants will be working with machines, tools and production equipment on a daily basis. If someone who likes to work with your hands, can follow instructions and wants a stable job, then this job is for you.
Job Role:
- Operate production machinery and equipment on the factory floor.
- Build components and products to meet daily production goals
- Check finished products for defects or quality issues
- When using machinery always observe safety guidelines.
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift
- Report any equipment malfunctions or production problems to your supervisor
- Meet daily production targets without sacrificing quality
Job Responsiblity:
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Comfortable operating basic machinery and hand tools
- Strong awareness of workplace safety rules
- Able to stand for long periods and do physical work during shifts
- Can follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting production output
- A high school diploma or GED is required
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in assembly, machine operation or quality inspection. Freshers are also welcome if they have a good work ethics and willingness to learn.
Working Hours
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Rotational shifts — day and night shifts available
- Weekend shifts may be required depending on production schedules
- Overtime available during peak production periods
