Job Description
Eddie Stobart is one of the most recognisable haulage companies in the UK. Their green and white lorries are a familiar sight on every motorway in the country. Their Manchester depot needs HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers right now for long distance and regional delivery runs. Good hourly rate. Steady work. Weekly pay.
What the Job Involves
- Drive HGV lorries on planned delivery routes across the UK
- Load and unload goods at collection and delivery points
- Complete all required paperwork — delivery notes, tachograph records, and daily vehicle checks
- Follow all road transport regulations and driver hours rules
- Report any vehicle faults or road incidents to the depot straight away
- Keep your lorry clean and presentable at all times
Pay and Hours
- £15.50 to £17.00 per hour based on licence class and experience
- Full time 45 to 50 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend runs available
- Early morning departures from the Manchester depot
- Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements
What you must have before applying:
- A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence — C+E or C
- A valid CPC Driver qualification card
- A valid digital tachograph card
- At least 1 year of HGV driving experience
- Clean or near clean driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of UK road regulations and driver hours rules
